Competent Person Training - Excavations
Training in OSHA's Trenching & Excavation standards (subpart P) can be conducted for competent persons at your location. Topics covered during this on-site seminar include:
- OSHA requirements for a "Competent Person" on excavation sites
- How to conduct soil tests (visual & manual)
- Identifing potential hazardous atmospheres inside of trenches
- Locating potentially deadly underground utilities
All training is documented and certified per OSHA standards. Each trainee receives a manual and handouts at the class, plus a course completion certificate. Cal-OSHA version of this course is also available.
